This test measures the motor response time when presented with two choices. Push and hold the square button at the bottom of the Tiki mask and a symbol appears on the Tiki's headdress. The player should respond as quickly as possible by pressing the matching symbol. The symbols are pseudo randomized and counterbalanced so that they are not memorized.

Simple reaction time is often impaired after brain injury and the slowing disproportionately increases with complexity of the task. Inconsistency in responses can also distinguish individuals with traumatic brain injuries from control subjects.
