Robin R Johnson, PhD
Dr. Johnson earned her PhD and Master’s degrees in Behavioral Neuroscience, at Texas A&M, specializing in psychoneuroimmunology- the study of how stress and other psychological processes interact with immune function to alter health outcomes. During her graduate training she was awarded both a National Science Foundation Fellowship and a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award. Dr. Johnson then spent the next nine years as a Cognitive Neuroscience Researcher at a biotechnology start up, conducting research on cognitive assessment in at risk populations (HIV+, PTSD, sleep deprived, drug abuse), learning and memory, fatigue and stress management, brain-machine/computer interface, human-machine/computer interface, health psychology, decision making, and STEM training optimization. Dr. Johnson has extensive experience in project management, grant writing, research paper publications, research analysis, new project development, and team building and management in a research environment. She believes strongly in the mission of Blue Marble Gaming: develop cognitive and physical health focused games, and put them in the hands of those who need them.
