Improving Healthcare Outcomes, One Player at a Time

Nick Ong-Sun – Gerontologist

Nick Ong-Sun

Nick has been interested in therapeutic games ever since attending the AgeTech West Conference where Microsoft representatives demonstrated the Kinect technology’s potential. After hearing the CEO of Aging 2.0 speak, innovators at USC’s Institute of Creative Technologies speak, and watching the pitch-for-pilots entrepreneurs demo their technology for aging innovations and “theraputainment” solutions, Nick has been committed to furthering the numerous ways theraputainment can help people.

Outside of work, Nick champions the idea of “lifelong learning” wherever or whatever stage you are at, and has studied at various campuses including UC Irvine, Stanford University, Peking University, University of Genoa, and most recently the University of Southern California, where he received a Master of Science from the Leonard Davis School for Gerontology.

Outside of the office, Nick can be found laughing his head off at Upright Citizens Brigade improv shows or wandering around sandy beaches contemplating if there is extraterrestrial life somewhere out there.
